Students risk dreams -- and deportation -- in walk for recognition

Students risk dreams -- and deportation -- in walk for recognition

Many families are in bad conditions, they are POOR. Many parents think they cant take care any more of their family so the parents send the kids mostly to USA to live in a another family member or with another family. About 65,000 kids without documents graduate from high school. There are many schools that help these kids such as Miami-Dade colleg's.

I think this means that poorness is increasing more and more each year because the number of students graduating each year without a document. I think we should really think about a way to solve this big problem. I also think this children work really hard to live and we should help them.

Obama Signs Landmark Health Care Overhaul Bill

Obama the president of the United States signs that the health care you will pay less for the medicines that you need. They had a ceremonie at the white house this ceremonie included two special guests Connie Anderson the and the sister of Natoma Canfield. Vicki Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy were fighting last year for this to happen but they died last year.
In my opinion this will help poor people that cannot pay too much money for a medicine to go to the doctor and buy medicine. Obama is a very good person because he decided it was time to put the prices in a less amount of money. This can affect the world economically by having more money because they do not need to spend too much money in medicine.

Health care reform: How it might work for real people

About 32 million people that live in the US will be able to get insurance when the $940 billion health care plan takes effect. That means that many poor people that can't get insurance or that are about to lose it, can keep their insurance. Some people told CNN what they thought about it. Erica Mohamed, 31, of Houston, Texas is separated and has a six-year old son called Jeremiah that has a congenital heart disease called Tetralogy of Fallot. He has had three open-heart surgeries already, and will need to have another procedure to remove a stent in early adolescence. She is happy that even if she loses her job, she will be able to keep her insurance.

We think this plan is very good and beneficial, and that if it works in the US, other countries might consider doing it in other countries. If that happened, it would really help to develop third-world countries and people might actually have a chance to improve their lives.

Earthquake in Chile

In Chile there was an earth quake that was 8.8 magnitude. It made a disaster and made the water tide rise in Hawaii. the death toll was 723 on Tuesday. More than 1.5 billion people who live near Santiago are still without energy. many people stayed without shelter, food and water.
In our opinion this is a very bad disaster that is happening to the world. And now many earthquakes are happening in the world and people are suffering. We believe that we should be prepared because maybe it will happen to us.
