People are ending their account of facebook because the security. Almost more than 400 million people has end their account. people had notice that all their private information can be shown to people they don't really know so they have quit facebook. Now the number of members on facebook have lower a lot.

We think that is good people are quitting because security, We also think facebook can do something about the security for they not to loose members.

Eco-airship floats idea of the future

Vincent Callebaut is a belgian architect. he imagines the future traveling in giant eco-airships powered by algae.

hey are called: Hydrogenase. the air ships are 400 meters high, 180 meters wide. the airships are divided in 8 compartments. Callebaut doesn't want these airships to be just for entretainment, his project will be used for helping with humanitarian missions, scientific studies, or even as housing hotels and entertainment.

in our opinion this project is really awesome I imagine a world like that. Just imagine how others architectures would do in the future it would be very excited

U.S. missionary hels in Haiti is free, lawyer says

Laura silsby is the american missionary is trying to take nearby three dozen children out of Haiti. Because of the twelve earth quakes and silsby is preparing to board on american airlines the 33 childs on board the airplane so they don't continue suffering. And she also is building an orphanage in Dominican Republic.

Our opinion is that Silsby is a very good woman for inverting many money to help the orphan and poor children to get out of Haiti. I believe that we should start helping her to get more money to help Haiti orphan children. This affects our world because maybe more people would start to help her raise money to help the orphan kids in the world.

The families are selling their daughters to the united arab army for sold into sexual slavery. Now they are looking for opportunities to escape from sexual slavery. womans rise activists are outraged. many woman are tricked into it by accepting fake marriages proposals.
Our group thinks that the woman should not be sold by their family into sexual slavery because they have the right to say no. There should be more justice in Baghdad. This affects the whole world by that woman do not have many rights and are not treated well. Our president Obama should put more laws by many days in prison to the families that sell their children into slavery.

DE BEERS thinks that the diamonds in the world are running out over a long period of time. They are reducing the production of diamonds. The prices of the diamonds could increase at least 5 percent over the next five years. THAT'S A LOT!! Diamonds are use in many things such as rings, earrings, necklaces, clothing and many other things.

In our opinion not having diamonds is a big problem. Imagine not having many beautiful accessories and many people are going to loose their jobs. And stores are going to decrease their money. The economy of some countries is going to fall.

All the airports in europe are closed because a volcano made an eruption and the ashes make airplanes fall so all flights had been cancelled.In Madrid there are still flights traveling. The ashes that the volcano made in a eruption are affecting the airplanes by destroying the turbins and making the engines explode. The ashes are now in the air continueing to go to Britain.
Our opinion is that this affects all the world because there are less toourists and people can't come back from any place in europe. This may end by the end of the week .

New Hominid Species Discovered in South Africa

Matthew Berger found a new homonid!!! omg. doctor Bergerthinks this fossils are Australopithecus sediba. the species of sediba had really long legs with hips of the humans with small teeth and they still climb trees. these species had a really tiny brain.these new hominids was found in south Africa in a hole. the geologists estimate that this new hominids lived in 1.98 million to19.02 years ago.
Our opinion is that this will help us to know who our ancestors were. We think this is very interesting for history because it will help us know how the hominids bones looked like and how we changed during time.

The president Obama is going to throw nuclear weapons to people who have nuclear weapons like Iran and North Korea. Because of a treaty they had of not having any nuclear weapon for war. Mr.Barack obama will use this stragedy to make nuclear weapons obsolet and to bring fairness and justice to the world. For the first time the United States are using the nuclear weapons against the countries that have the Nuclear Nonprofiliation treaty.
Our opinon is good but at the same time it is bad because Obama is destroying the nuclear weapons but he is also destroying the whole cities and because of that the countries can attack the United States of America. the good thing is that there will be no nuclear attacks by other countries so it will stop it but if he doesn't destroy them there will be another cold war.

Many parents think they cant take care any more of their family so the parents send the kids mostly to USA to live in a another family member or with another family. About 65,000 kids without documents graduate from high school.There are many schools that help these kids such as Miami-Dade colleg's.

I think this means that poorness is increasing more and more each year because the number of students graduating each year without a document. I think we should really think about a way to solve this big problem. I also think this children work really hard to live and we should help them.

In my opinion this will help poor people that cannot pay too much money for a medicine to go to the doctor and buy medicine. Obama is a very good person because he decided it was time to put the prices in a less amount of money. This can affect the world economically by having more money because they do not need to spend too much money in medicine.

We think this plan is very good and beneficial, and that if it works in the US, other countries might consider doing it in other countries. If that happened, it would really help to develop third-world countries and people might actually have a chance to improve their lives.

Earthquake in Chile

In Chile there was an earth quake that was 8.8 magnitude. It made a disaster and made the water tide rise in Hawaii. the death toll was 723 on Tuesday. More than 1.5 billion people who live near Santiago are still without energy. many people stayed without shelter, food and water.
In our opinion this is a very bad disaster that is happening to the world. And now many earthquakes are happening in the world and people are suffering. We believe that we should be prepared because maybe it will happen to us.

The government has your baby's DNA

Now in theU.S.A, the goverment makes parents have a genetic test for your babies. companies and health insurance agencies can use that information to determine if they give you the job.

In our opinion is bad because then the goverment would now if the baby is sick or in bad conditionos. So maybe then the child or the persone would not be accepted in some schools or jobs. then the child will leave miserable live. We also think that the goveremnet has no resone for they to have the DNA.

Will NASA return to the moon?

NASA says that yes they will return to the moon but the government won't let them go back to the moon again. NASA plans to send humans to the moon in 2020. The government plans to end NASA to the end of this year. NASA is going to spend 6 billion dollars to make a private space ship to take astronauts into orbit.
In our opinion it is bad that the government is closing the NASA because with them we can discover more things about other planets or the space. They should send people now to the moon in 2011 because you never know what can happen. It is good that they will spend this 6 billion dollars in a new space ship to take people into orbit.

Gun attack at Mexico student party leaves 14 dead

At a Mexico in a high school party gunman entered and they left 14 dead. Three adults and eleven teenagers died and other 20 were injured. They believe they are the drug gangs who did this. The victims were aged in 15 and 20 years old. The gunmen arrived in early Sunday in many cars at a house. The police knows they were looking for someone and they knew he was at the party that day. They shoot outside the property and then they moved inside and killed some of the teenagers trying to escape over a fence. This is bad influence for all the kids. The people who make parties should have more security or at least they should have a phone to try calling the police. The kids can learn from them and be drug dealers with a gang and have many weapons and kill people. The people should call the police when they are doing a party so they can come and check what is happening in every hour.

The new France law is that the women cant use veil that covers their face. Some people say that wearing a veil was rude and that it gives negative messages. By making that law France would become a land of terrorism.

people wonder if it's ethically right to go to a private beach in hatiti and order a pina colada while people are struggling to survive in the capital of haiti. it has been a debate since royal carribean resumed taking passengers to Haiti. "Blogs and message boards have been full of outrage and disgust at the idea of tourists frolicking in the sun while bodies pile up in Port-au-Prince and quake survivors struggle to stay alive.". however, experts in ethics and sustainable tourism say that if tourism kept flowing in Haiti, it could have positive effects against the earthquake. the money gained from tourism could be used to rebuild Haiti. The cruise line responded to this by donating $1 million in aid to Haiti. the cruise ships are also bringing resources to help the Haitians, like beans, powdered milk, canned goods, etc. "The cruise ships aren't hurting anyone, in fact they're doing some good, they're bringing some help," MacDonald said.
